This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
The selected candidate will assist the recruitment staff in the facilitation of hiring and Human Resources activities.
Contract Length: 3 months with possible extension
Overview of the Role
Assist in coordinating the employment process to ensure that applicants are scheduled and hired in a timely, cost effective manner according to ICON policies and procedures.
Recruitment Coordinators may focus on any or all of the following activities: job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letters, and related hiring activities.
Manage job postings both internally and externally to reflect current openings, and searches to generate qualified candidate pool.
Maintain, develop and continually improve candidate sourcing through on-line resources and HRIS sourcing, in order to improve speed of job fills and lower our cost per hire and usage of external agencies.
Coordinate interview schedules and subsequent dispositions and comments for internal and external candidates within the HRIS so reports are accurate. Scheduling includes:
Arrange travel for out of town applicants.
Determine and confirm interview dates and times that work mutually for both applicant and ICON interview team.
Coordinate exit interviews and collection of ICON property as required.
Initiate and complete the background check process by following vendor guidelines and ensuring timely updates, review and approval of final report.
Announce transfers, promotions, new hires and terminations as required.
Generate timely and accurate offer, transfer, promotion letters/ agreements or related correspondence as required. Ensure that signed documents and agreements are returned prior to applicant taking position.
Assist with special projects as required.
Notify appropriate Manager of HR issues.
Collect Company belongings on the employee’s last day.
Faxing, photocopying, scanning, and sending documents via FedEx as required.
Some college preferred and/or related HR or administrative experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; high attention to detail required.
Strong computer skills; competent in Word, Excel. Experience with HRIS and benefit programs preferred.
