& Minimum Requirements:
Georgetown University Law Library is seeking applications for a Reference Librarian, based in the Williams Law Library.
Under the direct supervision of the Head of Reference, this position provides extensive reference services to the Law Center's faculty and students by participating in reference desk rotation, partnering with faculty through a liaison program, providing individual research consultations, creating and maintaining online training materials, and writing research guides. The Reference Librarian also provides basic and advanced legal research instruction, conducts clinical research instruction, provides journal support through a liaison program, and contributes to other library educational programs as needed.
M.L.S. or equivalent degree from an ALA-accredited library school; knowledge of legal systems and resources; excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated instructional skills.
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or significant law library experience. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
