High School diploma or GED is required.
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Referral Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with ancillary and specialty physician care. This includes, but is not limited to, processing referrals, (both paper and automated), notifying patients of their appointments, ensuring that pre-tets are completed prior to referral appointments, tracking referrals that are made to ensure that patient's either kept or cancelled the appointment for care. Additionally the referral coordinator is responsible for ensuring all reports are available for physicians at time of followup.
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of one year in a Medical Office Assistant role, with knowledge of making referrals for ancillary/specialty care.
