This position will manage the information reporting resource for the refinery's leadership team. This role will also be responsible for coordinating the reporting process for the refinery's performance metrics as well as facilitating timely and accurate flow of information to and from refinery leadership team.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Serving as the site's primary reporting resource for business data analysis and reporting this individual will act as the focal point for the refinery leadership team to field and research inquiries and information requests in timely manner. Will actively engage appropriate personnel at both the site and corporate office to ensure data quality and timely completion.
Tracking progress and reports status on refinery goals and projects which will entail identifying trends and anomalies as well as conducting variance analysis to determine root cause(s)/cause and effect linkages. Upon collection and analysis of related data, will summarize findings into an executive summary for leadership review.
Preparation of the refinery's submission to Refining's annual budget and 10-year plan including supporting analysis and business cases while monitoring the use and rate of expenditure of budgeted funds.
Coordinating the refinery's data collection for Solomon Associates' biennial fuels refinery comparative performance study, and serve as the primary point of contact at the refinery to research and resolve data issues.
Conducting data analysis for ad-hoc reporting requests in addition to creating documents, reports and presentations as needed.
Education and Experience
Minimum of undergraduate engineering or technical degree required.
Minimum 5 years experience in refinery with core refinery processes such as operations, process engineering or refinery economics.
