Brooks is looking for a refrigeration engineer who will provide critical expertise in designing our next generation -80C refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities: Design +20C to -80°C refrigeration systems. Perform theoretical analysis and design for refrigeration systems from +20C to -80C. Perform piping, component and subsystem design. Assist in the mechanical and frame design. Transfer system designs into regular production. . Troubleshoot and support current and future refrigeration systems. Create and maintain design, troubleshooting and service documentation
Required Skills: At least 5 years of experiences in design and development of cascade and auto cascade refrigeration systems. Practical experience with Variable Speed Compressors. Ability to perform theoretical analysis and design for refrigeration systems from +20C to -80C. Extensive hand-on experience and understanding of refrigeration piping design, components and systems. Ability to troubleshoot and support current and future refrigeration systems. Ability to clearly communicate concepts. Ability to work in a team environment. Good skills at creating and maintaining design, troubleshooting and service documentation. Ability to use SolidWorks is desirable but not mandatory. Bachelors degree in refrigeration related field desirable.
