The Regional Account Manager is tasked with aggressively developing and closing complex, large dollar solution opportunities and selling the business value of our services to senior level executives throughout the China region. Will be responsible for managing the sales process from due diligence of customer opportunities through proposal and acceptance. They will have ongoing responsibilities for business relationships with key customers. The person in this position must interface well with engineering, understanding BSQUARE resources, deliverables, and schedules. The successful candidate will have a track record selling to technical, marketing and executive prospects, and demonstrate the capability to navigate large, complex organizations. The position requires a strong technical understanding of Microsoft operating systems and networking products, as well as project management, consulting and sales skills. This position will be based in Beijing, China and will require some travels to the US occasionally. This position requires fluency in Mandarin and English.

  • Assess and determine feasibility and value of customer opportunities Interface with all teams within the all division
  • Develop proposals, which will include costs and availability of resources
  • Contract negotiations
  • Close opportunities
  • Manage customer relationships within the customer community
  • Work with Program Managers for customer project management
  • Support tradeshows and other marketing events
  • Interface with Partners to develop new opportunities

  • Fluent in Mandarin, English
  • Windows skills preferred
  • Successful track record in generating revenue, exceeding annual goals of performance
  • Proficient in generating proposals, including resource job costing and scheduling
  • Negotiate agreements with minimal assistance, maintaining interests of company while preserving customer relationship
  • Excellent communication and business relationship skills
  • Must be a team player that is able to work with a variety of disciplines and organizational functions
  • 4+ experiences at embedded software business
  • Prior high level sales and management experience in the high technology industry focused on selling product and service solutions to OEM/ODM and enterprise accounts
  • Strong solution-selling skills for major accounts is essential
  • Must be a strong closer with demonstrated ability to close large complex sales
  • Demonstrated understanding of medium and large business organizations, their buying cycles and decision processes
  • BA or BS preferred, technical background preferred
  • Travel is highly variable could be substantial at times including international travel Ideally the candidate will be located in the Beijing Area, but location is secondary to fit for the position.
