We are now looking for a Regional Analyst to join the busy Market Analysis team to support our growing and diverse Latin America region.
Responsible for worldwide pricing for a portfolio of routes terminating in the Latin America Region
Responsible for margin & revenue assurance on assigned region (with occasional weekend duties)
Perform strategic market and product margin analysis, with heavy focus on analyzing and interpreting key market information to maximize profitability across customers and routes
Manage products to specified margin, revenue and quality guidelines; and make real-time adjustments to pricing / routing based on market conditions
Partner with the Sales organization to respond to customer rate targets and maximize route margin and revenue
Coordinate with the Buying and Sales teams to identify and ensure competitive costs are achieved
Review deals in deployment stage and assist in diagnosing the appropriate sell strategy based upon market data and expected cost/coverage
Facilitate the buying and sales process; and be an active part of the sales strategy (to determine and execute)
Drive route and customer based margin and capacity analysis on assigned routes/customers; examine dial code changes in markets served; and play key role in determining code definitions to be offered to customers in market
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and determine desired outcome to multi-dimensional problems.
Commercial acumen with ability to take actions whilst balancing risk and return, in order to achieve a desired commercial benefit and identify opportunities to increase revenues and profits.
Excellent organizational skills are essential, with the ability to adapt and change in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to interpret and convey ideas in a clear and concise manner
Confident personality with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to identify inefficiencies and drive through change to improve business processes
Eye for detail, with an ability to quickly comprehend technical concepts and incorporate them into analysis
Experience with databases and strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
BS/BA degree with a business or analytical background, or equivalent experience within the telecommunications industry
Ability to travel at short notice (international)
Spanish Language skills both written and oral is preferred
There will be occasional weekend coverage requirements (one weekend day out of every 5 to 7 weekends with additional compensation).
