This position exists to support Angelica senior management in financial analysis and planning. The Regional Business Analyst will work closely with regional team members and executive management to facilitate the contract review for all prospect accounts, as well as profitability analysis and planning of the business.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with regional senior management in strategic planning, including forecasting revenue growth and creation of regional budget

Monitor regional target revenue, quotas, and P&L management

Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis and Revenue Quality to monitor regional financial performance and forecasting

Conduct ROI analysis on capital expenditures

Support senior management in performing customer profitability reviews, analysis of current and proposed contracts, and sales and operating metrics analysis

Perform thorough monthly reviews with all regional business leaders

Review all new business proposals for operating costs, pricing, contract language and assist in RFP responses, negotiations, etc.

Approve all proposals and elevate through appropriate approval channels, before communicating to the customer/prospect

Monitor regional Salesforce.com activity, including administration, management of information and report writing

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Regional Business Analyst does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities, but does have informal supervisory duties with sales and production staff, including weekly calls, coaching through sales proposals and assisting with managing the regional cost structure sal sa.

Travel Required

The Regional Business Analyst position requires occasional travel. Employees are responsible for creating and submitting expense reports each week for expenditures incurred during travel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. in Finance or Accounting

Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Proficient in online CRM programs, preferably Salesforce.com

Strong written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including being able to build and maintain effective working relationships with all employee levels

Able to work under tight deadlines and put in overtime hours when necessary

Possess a direct, yet diplomatic communication style

Persistent, results-oriented, and proactive self-starter

Significant experience with a multi-location business

Team player with the ability to resolve conflicts, gain trust and persuasively influence stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in an analytical position in a large organization with increasing levels of responsibility and a wide range of responsibilities, including proven experience or knowledge in the following areas:

  • Strategic financial planning and execution
  • Finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP
  • Financial data analysis and preparation of financial reports, statements, and projections
  • Automated financial and accounting reporting systems
Proficient in Hyperion as a planning tool

Experience with Business Objects

Working knowledge of legal contracts

MBA or CPA

Work Environment

The working environment is indoors and is seasonally heated and cooled with minimal noise levels. The position requires considerable sitting, typing and the ability to move objects of less than 25 pounds. The position requires the ability to communicate in person, telephonically and via email.
