Essential Duties: Responsible for the accounting, analysis and control of Magnet Wire plant and product profitability. Provide direction to Operations and Sales in how to optimize labor, inventory, production runs, etc. to maintain, increase, and improve profitability.

Coordination with plant and commercial personnel on profit maximization

Recommend to and work directly with Plant Manager to

Staff Development

Plant Key Metrics/Dashboard

Special Project Analysis

Monthly Close Process including timeline and supporting analysis

Forecast/Budget including weekly snap shot, quarterly, monthly and quarterly forecast

Annual Budget

Strategic Cost Management

Establishment and development of standard cost

Quarterly Plant Review Analysis

Inventory Accounting, including book v. perpetual

WIP & FG Cycle Counts – Excess & Obsolete

Plant Accounts Payable and Payroll

This position will have responsibility for our Fort Wayne plant and Simcoe Canada plant.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Ten (10) years experience with progressive accountability in a manufacturing environment. Preferred: Master’s Degree, CPA, CMA Microsoft Office with above average proficiency in Excel, previous ERP experience (QAD, JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc), Action Oriented, Strong Business Acumen knowledge, Ability to work mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, Experience and desire to develop staff, Possess Integrity & Trust, Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, Supervisor ability and manage & measure team, Understanding and experience in Process Management, Must possess excellent time management and prioritization skills, excellent written and verbal communications. Lead cross functional groups and have experience on project deliverables.

2-4 years public accounting experience and 4-6 years of manufacturing experience.
