Role & Responsibilities:
In partnership with the University of Southern California, 2U has launched a high quality and innovative Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program delivered online. The mission of the USC School of Social Work is to prepare competent and knowledgeable social work practitioners who can provide leadership in complex and culturally diverse urban settings in regional, national and global contexts.

The Regional Field Development Coordinator will be responsible for new agency development and placement recommendations within a specific region. The Regional Coordinator will be expected to coordinate the “lead-to-close” process for acquisition of new agencies as well as maintain and build on existing relationships to ensure quality internships for their assigned students. The goal of the position is to qualify and confirm multiple agencies per student, to ensure students receive the highest quality “placement match”.

  • Research, outreach and contract acquisition with agencies
  • Identify and pre-qualify Field Instructors
  • Relationship management for continued partnership with agencies
  • May attend local state and regional association events and conferences
Education and Professional Experience:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Experience in sales and/or social work preferred
  • Must be comfortable making cold calls
  • Salesforce (or other sales database) experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable working in collaborative team
