Position information:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President/Regional Facilities Director, this position is responsible for the negotiations of all regional contracts and vendor accounts. Provides expectations for all services and holds all contractors and vendors accountable. Responsible for all major capital projects, and provides a long term infrastructure replacement plan. Develops and monitors safety programs, assists property managers in hiring facility/maintenance staff positions, and develops training programs for management and maintenance employees. Mentors and develops maintenance staff. Responsible for delivering excellence in service and product with our maintenance teams. Strong Leader responsible for creating an environment where our maintenance supervisors have healthy, efficient, effective teams. Partners with non-maintenance team members to continue building cohesive site teams .

Position requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive construction or facilities experience. An HVAC certification is required, and experience with boiler and chiller systems is strongly preferred. Experience multi-family management and follow through with vendors, contractors, and the ability to write construction specs is required. Experience managing the turn process and property takeovers preferred.
