The Regional Hub Coordinator for ShaleNET will oversee the development and implementation of Stark State College’s Regional Hub Office of the ShaleNET Consortium. The Consortium, funded by the Department of Labor, has a planned start date of 10/1/12 and an end date of 9/30/15.
This is a grant-funded position and continuation is dependent upon availability of funds.
Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering discipline required.
- A minimum of three years’ oil and gas industry experience required.
- An understanding of and commitment to the community college philosophy.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing and ability to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, classified staff, and diverse community groups.
- Commitment to the concepts of institutional effectiveness and the ability to provide leadership in planning and evaluation of academic programs.
Licensure or Certification Requirements:
Master’s degree in a science or engineering discipline.
A minimum of two years of Engineering Project Manager experience preferred.
A minimum of two years’ community college teaching experience preferred.
