Account Coordinator for Regional area
Requires Transportation / Logistics / Trucking / Dispatch experience

Management of essential employees to fulfill and support the sales initiated by our sales team, ensuring the delivery of customer products in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Work with sales staff to prospect for additional Dedicated Logistics business. Work with existing customers and account supervisors to maximize efficiencies, reduce costs, and potentially increase business levels. Work with central operations and recruiting to ensure sufficient staffing at all accounts. Organizational Role
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. Oversees the management of all Dedicated Logistics employees in the region.
M anage account supervisors and accounts without an Aim supervisor through daily contact.
Fill in for supervisors as needed for vacations and absenteeism.
Solve problems between drivers, supervisors and central operations.
Recruit, train, and coordinate drivers in non-supervised accounts and supervisors according to customer needs.
Monitor weekly records of mileage, equipment, and time for each account for Aim Billing and Payroll.
Meet with customers as needed, no less than on a monthly basis.
Prepare weekly reports on issues and action items for the Vice President of Operations.
Establish, maintain and review delivery statistics for customers to maximize efficiency
Review driver performance, compliance and safety records; work with Safety, Maintenance, and Human Resources to ensure that appropriate documentation is provided.
Meet with existing and potential customers with the sales staff.
Work with the Aim Leasing Company maintenance department to ensure timely repairs and PM’s to the Aim Dedicated equipment.
Set up new operations by developing time lines as the need arises.
Provide re-caps to the Vice President of operations for all meetings.
Develop agendas for weekly central operations meetings. To be shared with fellow Regional Coordinators.
Provide annual reviews with salary recommendations for all supervisors.
Submit weekly expense reports to Vice President of Operations.
Conduct quarterly regional meetings with all supervisors.
Promote good morale and corporate cooperation with all Aim employees. Skills / Requirements
Four-year degree and five years experience or 10 years experience in logistics and transportation management, customer service & human resources.
Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of computer analytical tools and computers & Microsoft office.
Understand and abide by rules and regulations in the Aim Policy & Procedure Handbook and Driver Handbook
Understand and abide by all Department of Transportation Regulations.
A positive, polite & cooperative attitude & customer service skills.
