American Campus Communities Companies (ACC) holds the Regional Manager (RM) responsible for effectively managing all property profit centers to insure maximum profitability which turn maximizes the value of the operation for ownership. The RM directs multiple properties in a mission to provide the highest quality of products and services to our customers to guarantee the long term success of the communities. Extensive travel is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) :
§ Oversees the daily operations of a group of properties.
§ Responsible for the financial and business strategies relating to organizational property ownership.
§ Oversees other property functions, such as maintenance, asset management, human resources, or marketing.

§ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years experience in the student/multi-family housing industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
§ Previous General Manager experience in the open student/multi-family housing industry is required

Is directly responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the assigned staff. Carries out supervisor responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
