Responsible for the daily support of Local Sprint Network Vision Region.

Will utilize input from our Vendors, the Customer, the Engineering team via Bill of Materials (BoM), Deployment team, Sales team and Order Management team.

Interface with central order management function, and regional sales and support personnel, for flawless supply execution.

Work closely with HQ, Sales, Project Deployment, and Process Improvement to plan, forecast, and report results for material delivery and inventory to support the initial sales of customer products to maximize customer deliveries and inventory investment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely procurement of materials to support deployment build plans and on-going customer requirements.

Manage vendors relationships by providing material forecast to tier one vendor as well as tracking vendor commitments to requested delivery dates.

Manage procurement timing taking manufacturing lead time into account.

Work with order management function to assure accurate procurement based on quantity and timing.

Provide weekly tracking of local material requirements assessed against inventory and inbound materials

Differentiate between supplied and vendor/GC supplied material

Must understand customer solution to assure material requirements are accurately forecasted and ordered.

Monitor and address the performance of logistics service providers, 3PLs, carriers, and vendors, driving improvements in performance.

Apply industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to differentiate in the marketplace and drive customer satisfaction.

Ensure that material partners meet or exceed customer requirements for all supply chain operations..

Produce various periodic and ad hoc reports including material forecasting, open order status, inbound shipments, and on-hand inventory.

Support ERP reporting to track key process indicators (KPI) and manage business processes.

Produce forecasted material requirements based on sales forecast and business plan

Bachelor's degree in business from a four-year college, preferred.

4-8 years experience using an ERP system (SAP preferred) for all supply chain management functions.

5-10 years hands-on experience supporting Supply Chain activities for telecommunications or other high-tech industry.

High level of competency in oral, listening, and written modes of communication for persuasion and/or communication of technical information both internally and externally.

Ability to align supply chain customer service support, order management, and logistics employees to achieve team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.

Must be analytical and process oriented, with the ability to utilize data for strategic improvement.

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:
Work generally performed in a warehouse, electronics repair shop, or office environment.

Requires some movement and transportation of supplies and materials up to 25 pounds.

Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, and language barriers.

Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids (such as safety equipment) that are representative and commonly associated with warehouse and electronic test work.

Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 50% of work time, including periods of prolonged use.

High hand/finger dexterity with fine motor coordination skills performing work within a physically mobile environment.

High numeric and character detail distinction and moderately high visual acuity for the preparation of documents and information.

Occasionally works additional hours beyond normal schedule.

Travel to vendors, customers, or STA sites is up to 25%.
