Under regular supervision of the Director, Materiels Services, and in close collaboration with other Purchasing/Inventory management, this position is responsible for all aspects of the supply chain at their assigned regional outreach clinic. These responsibilities include high-quality procurement support to facilitate the efficient and cost-effective operation of the Purchasing/Inventory Service, as well as accurate and effective receiving, stocking, distributing, and shipping of all Bassett Healthcare supplies and equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
High school graduation required
Technical school preparation preferred
One-year of warehouse or healthcare inventory supply management experience
New York State driver's license required
Clean driving record. U.S. Driving council certified, preferred
Strong PC skills, including Lawson, Word an Excel required.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
Ability to prioritize work and handle confidential information.
Ability of working with a diverse group of people within and outside the organization.
Extensive computer and telephone work with frequent public contact.
Some heavy lifting and frequent ambulating required, as well as daily office work.
