Job Purpose:
Holds responsibility for the complete financial integrity of multiple facilities including integrity of all assets, inventory control, product costing, factory reporting & account reconciliations.Supports the site Operations management teams in the pursuit of continuous improvements in cost quality & delivery performance of the manufacturing sites.

Participate with the plant management staff in the areas of maintaining control over the operation, strategic planning, long range planning, and special studies and analysis as required to fulfill the function.

Identify opportunities in support of site objectives in terms of cost, lead-time, and inventory improvements.

Insure financial impacts are properly validated & tracked in accordance with the company guidelines.

Will assure that financially sound internal control procedure exist throughout the plants, conduct audits and revision procedures as required.

Maintain knowledge of latest accounting policies, practices & procedures to insure integrity and compliance of the financials

Responsible for submission of the complete plant forecast as required by the central Operations Finance function.

Issue in accordance with Operations and Accounting policy, issues periodic reports to control plant operations and to inform management of the variances from budget and forecast.

Recommend changes to enhance results.

Responsible for all aspects of standard cost, including the annual and interim revisions of all standards.

Prepares & submits capital expenditure requests as required by the site in accordance with company guidelines.

Provides product line margin and cost analysis in support of key franchise portfolio decision-making, including Service & Repair as applicable.

Responsible to organize, staff, train, & develop team as required in support of the function.

Position Description & Requirements:
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required

7-10 years experience in Operation Accounting preferred

Proficient in MS Suite including Excel and Access

Strong financial/accounting skills

Knowledge of internal systems and applications

Oracle experience a plus
