We seek a qualified professional to directly support the Director of Property Management in the development and implementation of the full community and neighborhood management plan (asset, property and fiscal management) as well as supervise neighborhood teams on a daily basis at the installation with over 6700 units. Includes:
  • Directly supervise neighborhood managerial staff, Family Services Program Manager and Director of Maintenance; indirectly supervise support staff
  • Assist Director in employment decisions for all installation property management staff
  • Lead meetings with neighborhood management teams to educate and inform team members, ascertain team accomplishments and monitor progress of initiatives and program goals
  • Oversee Resident contacts (with communications managers) to ensure that the highest level of professionalism and customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Oversee preparation and monitor implementation of asset management plans and annual budgets for all neighborhoods; develop and recommend operational changes
  • Review financial reports and contribute to variance reporting
  • Assist Director in ensuring compliance with military and installation regulations and reporting requirements
  • Conduct regular neighborhood inspections
  • Work closely with other functional groups to support operational goals and provide process improvement suggestions
Required Experience
  • 5+ years progressive experience in managing a multi-site residential portfolio of at least 1,000 units with a professional management organization, and proven success in staff management
  • Professional designation of Certified Property Manager or active candidacy for such or similar designation is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor''s degree in Real Estate or related field
  • Strong interpersonal/interactive and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven success in process improvement, budgeting, marketing, and property management experience is necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and competency in YARDI Property Management software or equivalent industry related software
  • Must be self motivated and possess a positive attitude and operate well in a team environment, strong professional communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be creative, flexible, and adaptable to new situations and assignments
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
