This newly created Regional
Property Product Manager is responsible for the success of the company’s
products within the Eastern regional territory. This position will report
directly to the Property Product Executive. Key regional accountabilities
include: product performance; product troubleshooting; product positioning;
product competitiveness; product compliance; and product implementations.
Several key product, process, and
system projects will be launched within this leaders assigned territory during
the next few years. Leadership, collaboration,
communication, organization, prioritization, project management, and analytical
aptitude are all skills that will be crucial to the success of these
initiatives. Experience with and a holistic understanding of the
interconnected core personal lines insurance disciplines of state management,
product development, product pricing, actuarial, analytics, underwriting, and
claims will also be critical since Regional Property Product Managers work
closely with associate representatives from all of those disciplines throughout
the organization to achieve success.
• Serves as an active and engaged
member of the Property Product Leadership Team.
• Establishes positive and productive
working relationships with state management partners and their company partner
• Works with state management
partners to build annual business plans for every state and every Property
• Builds and implements risk
management plans for all states.
• Monitors and manages product
performance relative to established annual business plan targets.
• Oversees product roll-outs, and
other important product and platform projects.
• Ensures that every product is in
full compliance with applicable insurance laws, regulations, and statutes.
• Participates in the pricing package
process as a key facilitator to see that pricing packages achieve
• Provides thought leadership, work
direction, and day-to-day supervision to a staff of one associate product
• Makes final decisions on
team-specific administrative, strategic and operational matters.
• Executes company-wide and
department-wide policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of personal lines
insurance leadership experience in personal lines insurance product management
or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in business
• Strong organizational and
• Outstanding oral and written
communications skills, including presentation and facilitation skills.
• Established problem-solving
expertise and a "can do" attitude.
• Extensive experience with core
insurance disciplines--particularly product management, pricing, analytics,
underwriting, and claims.
• Successful leadership experience
with the supervision of at least one direct report.
• Proven quantitative aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft
PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• CPCU designation.
• Graduate degree in insurance, business, or related field.
