An OutSystems Regional Sales Executive (RSE), Enterprise Sales will have a defined geographic region with focus selling to companies with more than 1,000 employees or with greater than $500 million in annual revenue. This role has the following responsibilities and expectations.

Job Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • Engaging with prospects, customers, OutSystems employees and other internal and external stakeholders with the utmost professionalism and integrity;
  • Building respect, trust, and credibility with prospects and customers by understanding their industry and business drivers while focusing on their unique needs;
  • Taking personal responsibility for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at each point of contact;
  • Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with C-level executives;
  • Establishing and managing to a territory plan that aligns individual sales objectives with OutSystems’ business goals;
  • Meeting and exceeding bookings and revenue quota expectations;
  • Building a pipeline through various means including cold calling into named or target accounts in the defined territory;
  • Maintaining a pipeline reflective of the activity necessary to achieve the bookings and revenue quotas;
  • Managing the entire sales process from a qualified lead through contract negotiation and closure with minimal sales management involvement;
  • Responding to RFPs;
  • Writing value-based proposals;
  • Maximizing the revenue opportunity of established customers in the defined territory;
  • Understanding and following OutSystems’ corporate and sales policies and procedures;
  • Working as part of a sales team with the consultants, sales engineers, and executive management;
  • Demonstrating a broad knowledge of the current technologies and concepts influencing IT buying decisions;
  • Demonstrating complete knowledge of OutSystems’ products and services to proactively identify opportunities, including cross-selling, to solve customers’ problems and create demand for OutSystems solutions.

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales quota of $2.5M or greater in enterprise software sales;
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent;
  • Passion for selling with enthusiastic and self starting, entrepreneurial approach;
  • Knowledge of the IT industry with a background selling to CIO, CTO, or equivalent senior IT or business executives;
  • Knowledge and experience selling application development software, database management software, business process management software, or similar software that enables the development, delivery, or management of business applications;
  • Knowledge and experience selling services focused on application development and delivery;
  • Knowledge of applications enabling web 2.0, cloud computing, virtualization, and mobile;
  • Knowledge of application development approaches and methods;
  • Outstanding communicator with ability to provide feedback at all levels of the organization;
  • Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office, WebEx or similar web conferencing product, and CRM or sales management tools ( preferred);
  • Ability to travel an estimated 5-10 days or more per month.
