Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepares and delivers presentations to key clients, the public or HID management.
• Establishes and maintains strong value added relationships with existing clients.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with other HID business units to ensure entire HID portfolio is represented to customers.
• Measures and monitors HID market share penetration in the territory.
• Promotes and sells HID products and services to existing or new customers or channels.
• Prepares semi-annual and annual Business Plans for assigned territory.
• Achieves total customer satisfaction by interacting with assigned group of customers and HID management.
• Establishes communications with all departments to facilitate the resolution of customer related problems.
• Participates as member of account management team, working closely to identify improvement opportunities, developmental needs and account growth.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
• Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvement.
• Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
• Track results and communicate to senior management regional results.
• Maintain a commitment to the company’s sales processes, values and business code of ethics.
• Protect and increase a profitable revenue stream within current accounts. Ensure all accounts have had a “touch” every 90 days.
• Seek out expansion opportunities to further penetrate account both high and wide.
Required Knowledge / Experience:
• Must possess a B.A degree from a four-year college or university
• 4 to 8 years related experience
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Familiar with Salesforce a plus.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Lotus Notes, etc.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
• Prepare accurate and timely sales reports
• Experience calling on Major Accounts and National Accounts selling complex solutions.
• Experienced negotiator, self-motivated, strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Develop strong ties with key customers and accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
• Excellent listening skills are necessary

• Must possess the ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business and financial data and develop innovative solutions.
• Must possess excellent planning, organizational and leadership capabilities. Frequent contact with both internal and external customers requires the ability to give and receive feedback, recognize and act on customer needs, building rapport and gaining closure.
• Frequent contact with other departments, vendors and customers requires tact, charisma, and the ability to negotiate. Communicate clear and concise expectations, goals and provide feedback on results.
• Excellent internal communication via phone and in person with company staff – other sales representatives, managers, administrative, support and development personnel
• Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Must possess the ability to interpret technical instructions, and to deal with abstract terms and variables.
• Must possess the ability to calculate percentages, ratios, markup, discounts, etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to travel by automobile, airplane, etc., as needed.
• May travel 35-50% of the time as part of regular duties. Requires travel within North America. Some weekend travel.
