The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue within the company by closing sales. The position is tied to a sales geography (Las Vegas area), segment, or team. It sells to and services accounts via phone and face-to-face meetings. The position operates under moderate supervision, and reports to the Director of Business Development. The regional sales manager is teamed with a senior sales account executive. This position requires the Regional Sales Manager to be able to find prospects, meet with prospects, present an appropriate value proposition, manage accounts directly, and close business. This position is measured by a quota attached to a specific timeframe.

Responsibilities

KEY GOALS:
Achieve sales revenue and profitability objectives as defined in the Sales Compensation Plan.
Gain access to operational decision influencers and executive level decision makers.
Establish relationships with executive decision makers at the early stages of the sales cycle.
Delivering superior presentations, including high-level product demonstrations.
Develop in-depth understanding of prospective customer's requirements.
Present a positive image regarding the company, both in front of prospects and customers and in interactions with fellow employees.
Maintain expenses within the guidelines provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet monthly quota for defined sales territory.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline.
Accurately forecast business and sales pipeline as required, updating management on the status of all prospects.
Prepare quotations and proposals for products and services.
Demonstrate InfoGenesis software to potential clients as required via in person meetings and web presentation tools.
Record all customer/prospect communications and maintain the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system.
Develop and maintain superior relationships with customers for solution upgrade and cross-sale opportunities as well as general account management.
Provide feedback to Product Management regarding general customer requirements for future product release.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Must be highly organized and able to communicate effectively in order to determine next sales task and resolve issues.
Ability to understand and articulate value propositions.
Ability to integrate with the global sales and marketing teams.

Requirements

Diploma in Marketing and/or Business Studies or equivalent experience.
2-3 years plus experience in inside sales/telemarketing.
Familiarity and experience in either hospitality or software industry.
Ability to work on multiple tasks, set goals, and maintain high activity levels.
Good problem solving skills.
Proficient in standard office productivity software and sales force automation tools.
