DESCRIPTION:
Educational Insights is expanding their toy and educational sales team to include a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and develop brand awareness. Leverage your prior experience in toy/education sales to build on your established customer base in the EASTERN UNITED STATES. The chosen incumbent will be based in GARDENA, CA and responsible for the execution of all sales activities while developing and coaching up to 45 sales representatives.

DUTIES:
  • Work with assigned accounts to maximize breadth of line and revenue opportunities.
  • Seek new business potential through active market research and the comprehenisve development of industry knowledge and contacts.
  • Manage, motivate, and coach established team of sales representatives to achieve or exceed revenue goals.
  • Analyze and manage revenue performance metrics for both self and team.
  • Control expenses to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Create compelling sales presentations as well as RFP responses.
  • Utilize strong computer skills to analyze data and report outcomes and strategy to leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Bachelors degree required.
  • 5+ years experience in sales management, education and/or specialty toy channel preferred.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently and remotely from the California headquarters.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to drive sales activities.
  • Proactive team member with a sense of urgency to respond to customer and sales representative requests.
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint required as well as the ability to learn company software applications.
  • Able to travel up to 30% to 40% of the time throughout the Eastern United States.
  • Able to lift 40lbs.
  • Able to stand to up to 8 hours.
