We are looking for candidates who want a career working with The Premier Brand of Hand Tools. We are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager for our West Cost Territory.


As Regional Sales Manager, West Coast, you will be responsible for all the sales activities and results as assigned for manufacturers' rep agencies and internal sales team. You will be responsible for training, motivating and discipline of all assigned representatives. You will travel with territory reps on a regular basis, performing all sales management and training duties as assigned. You will ensure appropriate territory coverage and increase regional sales, new product sales, promotion sales and you will ensure that new customer additions are at or exceed annually set quotas/revenues in support of the annual Klein Tools' business plan budget. You will increase annual sales volume to above annually set quotas for the regional top 25 accounts, corporate and national accounts and marketing group accounts in the assigned region. You will also engage in account planning activities and call on tile top 25 accounts.


Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and ten years of sales experience, including three years of field sales management experience and a proven track record of continued growth and success. Must have experience in the electrical, construction and/or industrial markets with an overview of one-step and two-step distribution. Must have experience in sales forecasting and developing sales programs. Must have the ability to be creative, adaptive, action- and results-oriented, and communicate and present information to team members, top management, customers and/or suppliers.

Candidates must have strong communication skills, including verbal, written and pc skills. Candidates must be physically able to perform all physical duties associated with this position, driving long distances, lifting and demonstrating products. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be bondable.
