Currently we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the Sunnyvale, California area to drive new business and grow market share in existing accounts for the Metrico product line. Your experience in relationship management and demonstrated history of success in developing territories and accounts will make this the ideal opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales of Metrico/Spirent wireless solutions.
2. Achievement of quota.
3. Development of new business and customer relationships.
4. Forecasting of business.
5. Understanding and communication of customer requirements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree ideally in a technical field (EE or similar)and a minimum of 5 years of direct sales and/or product management.
• Experience in Test & Measurement solutions.
• Strong understanding of the North American telecommunications applications and markets.
• Familiarity with data and wireless communications principles and network. technologies (LTE, GSM, UMTS, CDMA, 1XRTT, VoIP).
• Subject expertise with RF channel fading characteristics.
• Familiarity with subscriber services offered by North American carriers such as voice, data and video.
• Demonstrated track record of superior sales results.
• Utilization of professional sales techniques.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Strong interest in problem solving.
• Strong communications skills (oral and written).
• Able to explain and present complex concepts and procedures clearly.
• Self-motivated – able to work independently.
• Well organized – able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good problem solving skills – able to quickly formulate appropriate responses to questions.
• Able to travel an appropriate level to adequately cover Spirent's customer base.
