The Regional Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for coordinating the supply chain activity within their respective region. Job task responsibilities will include executing raw material contracts and implementing and using Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) within the region based on forecasted Demand as generated from the S&OP process, coordinate with Logistics Operations Manager to provide analysis and metric for tracking and optimizing the regional transportation network including inbound and outbound shipments, implement and support finite scheduling using the Aspen scheduling tool for the production assets in the region, coordinate with customer service and operations to manage exceptions and changes to schedules and deliveries. Identify and drive OE savings for all supply chain activities in the region.

Job Responsibilities
Coordinate all Supply Chain functions (Plan, Source, Deliver) within the respective Region
Logistics Activity:
- Execute the outbound logistics activity to satisfy customer and business requirements
- Identify the transportation savings opportunities for all inbound and outbound movements.
- Coordinate with Logistics Operations Manager to manage the execution of the internal, dedicated and external truck fleets for Global resins.
- Coordinate with Logistics Operations Manager to measure and track Logistical metrics for the respective region in the Global Resins network.
Procurement Activity:
- Use the planning information and procurement contracts to implement and execute MRP for major raw materials.
- Monitor all raw material inventories for the plants within the region and develop strategies to reduce carrying costs and inventory levels.
- Manage the execution and optimization of the transactional activity for material procurement.
- Leverage the Global Commodity teams to develop long term supply strategies for sourcing materials in the region.
Planning Activities:
- Provide regional metrics for the NA FPD S&OP process.
- Implement and maintain finite scheduling using Aspen for the major resources of the region.
- Coordinate with operations exceptions to the scheduling model for materials and shipping assets to achieve the business results.
Work with other regional Supply Chain Managers to improve the process.
Review the accuracy of all production master data in SAP and provide corrective action recommendations.
Develop and manage to target inventories for make to stock products and manage raw material inventories.
Maintain the accuracy of all user-defined data in ASPEN Scheduling Model.
Supervise regional Supply Chain personnel by directing, coaching and developing associates.
Train back-ups.
Minimum Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in chemical environment, preferably in a related operational or supply chain role.
Knowledge of the principles of MRP
Good PC skills with emphasis on spreadsheets

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SAP, MRP, ASPEN scheduling tools, Zemeter suite of tools
  • Bachelor degree in business, math, computers, engineering, science, logistics or materials management preferred.
  • Understand constraints in assigned network
  • Prior supervisory experience

Associate degree in business, math, computers, engineering, science, logistics or materials management preferred

Physical/Other Requirements
In order to be considered for this position candidates are required to submit an application for employment through, be at least 18 years of age, willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process. Candidates are required to have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. If currently a Momentive employee, you must have current satisfactory work performance and in most cases, have been in your current role 18 months.
