PURPOSE: To assist the management of successful business operations.

POSITION DEMANDS: Individual should be a graduate of an accredited school and have an advanced degree and should possess at least five years of managerial experience.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations, or their designee, supervises the Area Managers of Business Operations, works in conjunction with Senior Leadership and regional leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
  • Business Operations Strategic Planning.
  • Business Practice and Protocol Development.
  • Monitors patient flow through the Clinics to ensure appropriate utilization of business resources.
  • Reviews business practice patterns for operational efficiency and standardization. Conducts spot audits to ensure compliance with established business practice policies and procedures.
  • Assists with physician and staff training as required for business operations issues, including but not limited to practice management and billing/coding.

  • Identifies opportunities to increase the business opportunities and scope of services provided by the Clinics.
  • Interacts regularly and consistently with each Medical Directors and facility administrators to ensure their program business operations needs are met.
  • Resolves any administrative problems.
  • Reviews at least monthly business operating reports.
  • Keeps lines of communication open between staff and administration.
  • Insures high employee morale and a professional, effective, and efficient working atmosphere.
  • Assists with annual budgeting process.
  • Recommends and initiates corrective action as required.
  • Monitors the execution of contracts.
  • Participates in clinic program assessments and evaluations.
  • Participates in administrative Business Operations meetings as scheduled.
  • Counsels, disciplines and/or recommends termination of employees as necessary.
  • Recommends and approves professional development for staff.
Other duties as reasonably assigned and as deemed necessary and required as position evolves.
