This is an opening for a Registered Nurse Clinician to work on our PACT team.The PACT multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing of a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; and sharing shift-management responsibility with other staff.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, stand, and meet with our patients in shelters, private homes, group settings, etc.

Excellent psychiatric nursing skills applicable to this position.
Must be proficient on all Microsoft Office applications.
Must have the ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
Excellent customer service skills and must be able to be sensitive and respectful of our patient's needs.
Must be able to work successfully with a diverse group of faculty, other staff, and patients.
Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Must be able to report to the work location regularly and in a timely manner.
Professional manner and appearance.

Ability to engage in repetitive motions including movements of the hands, wrists or fingers.
Ability to speak including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others.
Ability to hear including perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
Ability to see including unique visual requirements above and beyond the standard ability to see with or without corrective eyewear such as color vision, depth perception, etc.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 12 months related experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting.

Will accept an Associate's degree in Nursing plus an additional 24 months of experience (36 total)

Required Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses:
These requirements may be imposed by federal, state or recognized accrediting agency as a prerequisite of employment
Licensed as an RN in the State of Oklahoma, BLS, and CPR certification.

Required Skills and Proficiencies:

Must have experience working with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
