Manages and supervises designated department(s) by coordinating clinical and related activities within the department(s). Facilitates collaborative relationships among all hospital departments and the Medical Staff to achieve and maintain quality patient care in a cost-effective manner. Twenty-four hour accountability for managing assigned department(s). Patient population-newborn through geriatric.

  • Minimum Requirements
    Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN required.

    CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS :

    Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.
    Professional certification recognized by the ANCC required within 12 months of eligibility.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
    • Three (3) years of clinical experience in area of responsibility.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Previous management experience preferred.
