Summary of Job Duties
Registers patients in a pleasant, professional, and timely manner. Handles all routine patient inquiries related to the registration process. Ensures all necessary demographic and financial data is obtained and accurately records into the MS4 system. Identifies appropriate payor source and verifies eligibility. Collects appropriate deposits from patients.
Qualifications & Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written format
Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines
Demonstrates the ability to effectively use a computer
Experience in a medical office position preferred
Experience in a registration or insurance verification position preferred
High School diploma or equivalent certification
Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
Works well with others in a team-oriented environment, including support of other co-workers’ job duties in a manner that further advances the goals and objectives of the whole organization
