Responsible for assisting the regulatory and environmental compliance team. Responsibilities include Airspace and TERPS reports, FAA/FCC filings, environmental compliance, lighting changes and verification, NOTAM assistance, and RSM support. Additionally, this role will also support other projects and duties including our Undocumented Equipment (UDE) project.

Job Functions:

  • Filing with FAA/FCC for existing GTP towers, Development, M&A, and carriers
  • Assisting carriers and site acqs with questions and concerns pertaining to regulatory matters
  • Follow through with new FCC ASR process by placing sites on National Notice, also tracking the progress
  • Run reports through Airspace and TERPS software for Development, M&A, and carriers
  • Scrub FAA/FCC databases to ensure information is correct and concise
  • Ensure proper lighting is installed at each site as mandated by the FAA
  • Assist with AM Compliance issues
  • Respond to and address all environmental issues and questions pertaining to NEPA's, Phase 1's, environmental questionnaires, etc.
  • Responsible for Migratory Bird issues, decision making, and ensuring carriers follow the GTP Migratory Bird Policy set forth. Permit pulling may also be required in certain cases
  • Composing National Programmatic Agreement letters for carriers
  • Responsible for renewals of required zoning documents and fees on existing towers, as well as researching E911 addresses
  • Work closely with Flash Technologies keeping the database up to date with both domestic and international sites
  • Opening NOTAM's for new builds, newly acquired sites, and existing towers when needed
  • Resolve any database discrepancy tickets issued by the Flash NOC
  • Assisting with PO's and check requests for the Operations Team
  • Memorializing NTP's and Fiber installs
  • Various data mining activities to update the Site Administrative System
  • Supporting the Regional Site Managers in the field on day to day needs
  • Assisting with the UDE project which entails checking in new Site Inspection Reports, running weekly metrics, reviewing reports against tenant leases, track all new UDE's both pending and executed, and issuing UDE bonus requests for RSM's
  • Support all departments with questions and concerns regarding Ops related issues
  • Participate on PCIA Regulatory calls and weekly conference calls and attend team and company meetings at specific locations throughout the year as designated by the company
  • Other job duties as assigned
  • Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

    Candidate will work directly in the corporate office. If necessary, job will require minimal evening and weekend work for emergency situations. Some travel may be required.

    Qualifications:

  • Four year degree preferred
  • Required to have experience in both FAA and FCC rules, regulations, and procedures as they pertain to antenna structures
  • Experienced in Airspace Management and TERPS software
  • Trained in both AM Compliance and NEPA process
  • Thorough understanding of environmental documents such as Phase 1's, NEPA's, EA's.
  • Familiar with contracts, tenant leases, and ground leases
  • Excellent client and vendor relationship management skills
  • Disciplined, organized, and thorough individual who is a self starter
  • Demonstrated mastery in multiple tasking
  • Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team
