Job Description:
Regulatory & Security Analyst - Under general
supervision, the Regulatory & Security Analyst is
responsible for the analysis and interpretation
Department of Insurance and legislative actions as they
impact casualty claim processing and assess the impact
of required changes on the claim processing systems.
Establishes security programs and financial security
reviews in the regional claim offices and reviews key
defalcation areas of exposure during audits. Coordinates
responses to state insurance departments and auditors.
Participates with other division regulatory analysts and
internal auditors in formulating recommendations.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10-15 years in all areas of auto, property, and
Homeowner claims handling
  • 4-5 years casualty regulatory experience, experience
in working with casualty products and working
knowledge of Regulatory Affairs procedures and
company policies
  • 10 years management experience with progressive
responsibility in all areas of claims handling
  • Detailed knowledge of policy contracts
  • Previous audit and reporting through action plans
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time

  • Good knowledge of casualty claims operations and
salvage disposal operations
  • Understanding of claims security and back-up
programs for maintaining claims workflow integrity
  • Negotiation skills
  • Detailed casualty product knowledge
  • General knowledge of insurance law, administrative
agencies and laws
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology
  • General understanding of Claims operations and
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • General legal research skills
