Summary: Responsible for filing necessary applications and handling all government interactions pertaining to the regulation process for products requiring governmental approval. A

ssists in developing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Regulatory document control consists of managing all commercial and technical documents for the regulatory department.
Implementing processes and tools, providing system reports, maintaining and updating electronic information systems, distributing documents, and ensuring accuracy of all documentation are all essential functions of a document controller.
Ensuring regulatory procedures and changes are followed is also an essential part of the job junction. Follow up on outside activities to assure document retrieval from outside contractors.

Complexity of Work: The ideal candidate will be deadline focused, detail oriented, well organized and self-motivated along with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently with knowledge of food science.

Education: BS in a Food Science field

Experience: 2-5 years' experience in a food related or similar environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Maintain contact with managers to retrieve necessary documentation for cGMP.
Considerable knowledge of Science English, spelling, grammar and math to assist in development, maintenance and archival of controlled documentation.
Great knowledge of computer, media, phone, peripheral office equipment and word processing Word and Excel is a must with experience.
Skill in handling multiple tasks at one time and able to prioritize accordingly
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently on complex and confidential tasks
Ability to handle stressful situations
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
