Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze & advise of regulatory changes to determine impact on business and product applicability
- Prepare & distribute state regulatory bulletins
- Identify regulatory impacts, outline & distribute bulletins to applicable parties
- Escalate federal regulations and unique medical & state issues to GCO and GC&E
- Engage outside counsel as needed while working with GCO
- Conduct in-depth legal research
- Weekly review of DOI, PCIAA, INCompass & Other regulatory entities for regulatory updates
- Document & distribute legal opinions, actions aligned & next steps
- Coordinate Regulatory Compliance Implementation Process
- Provide Oversight and Coordination of AAC Compliance Mailbox Product Filing, Marketing and Document Management Support (Secondary Job Function):
- Prepare rate, rule and form filings to state regulatory agencies
- Assist in developing and implementing new or revised coverage forms and policyholder communications
- Collaborate with multiple areas of the organization to review all advertising, marketing, and training

- Partner with marketing to provide input on advertising and promotional campaigns by ensuring all consumer facing communications are accurate, supportable, and compliant with insurance laws, rules, and regulations.
- Audit various internal tools/databases, websites and processes that involve AAC insurance products to identify compliance issues and address them in a timely manner
- Coordinate and provide guidance for implementation of filings and form updates
- Set, establish and enforce publishing standards for Company and insurance policy forms
- Assist with creation and maintenance of forms database and requirements
- Coordinate standard release schedules with technology teams - Work on special projects as needed


Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Property and Casualty insurance experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to persuade and influence a broad spectrum of constituents at all levels, including regulatory agencies
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team and across all levels of the organization
- Able to handle multiple and competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong relationship building skills to resolve business issues and deliver outcomes through collaboration
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential compliance issues, potential root causes, and feasible operational solutions
- Excellent organizational, time management and analytical skills
- Demonstrated success managing projects, including end-to-end design
- Ability to provide strong leadership providing a disciplined and structured approach to decision making and problem solving
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products

Educational requirement:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Preferred Additional:
- Strong Paralegal or Legal Research skills and/or designation preferred
- Compliance background a plus
- Project management and/or marketing experience a plus
