The Relationship Banker is responsible for expanding existing client relationships and developing new relationships by advising clients in their selection of financial service products and services. Will be viewed as a trusted advisor with clients and follow sound, ethical banking practices and adhere to regulations and procedures. This position provides leadership, training and support to less experienced branch staff.
Proactively advises consumer and business clients in their selection of various accounts, loans and other products and financial services utilizing the Johnson Bank Relationship Review and other tools.
Proactively manages a self-developed pipeline of clients and prospects to uncover current and future needs.
Originate and close consumer loan products including credit cards.
Contributes to achievement of revenue goals, while maintaining pricing discipline.
Acts as primary point of contact for customers.
Ensures client satisfaction is met or exceeded at pre-planned regular intervals – on-boarding, periodic e-mails or calls, life-cycle events, etc.
Knowledge of full portfolio of JFG products and services; actively cross-sells full breadth and depth of products. Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales, cross-sales and referral goals.
Expand new and existing relationships by advising and recommending appropriate solutions that will exceed client expectations.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners to expand customer relationships across all lines of business.
Meets or exceeds client retention goals.
Minimum 2 years successful sales experience in a goal-oriented environment.
Proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required (preferred upon employment).
