Basic Function:
Supervise commercial customer service activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Ensure the provision of quality, prompt customer service and providing guidance to assigned personnel. Supervise a team of Relationship Liaisons in their commercial customer service activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Supervise and administer all commercial customer services, including but not limited to maintaining a portfolio; evaluating, processing, and closing loans. Facilitate daily customer service requests and inquiries. Incumbent is responsible for thorough knowledge of and expertise in all major responsibilities of all levels of Relationship Liaisons.

Review and recommend new methods and procedures for improving customer service efficiency and increasing customer service satisfaction. Assist in the implementation of training programs for service personnel.

Handle unusual or difficult customer problems through direct personal action.

Provide advice and guidance to service personnel to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service.

Exercises supervisory experience concerning staffing, salary recommendations, performance appraisals, promotions, terminations.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in work experience.

Five (5) or more years loan servicing experience

One (1) or more years of supervisory experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership ability

RL Supervisor is the subject matter expert in all aspects of the commercial banking segment. Incumbent should have extensive knowledge of operations, products and services, Treasury Management and Merchant Services, operations knowledge of AFS and Collateral and Documentation, Trade Services and Hogan.

Expert knowledgeable of regulatory compliance, operational loss reporting and audit standards.

Knowledge of personal computers and software used by department, including Word, Excel, CLAS, ERM, Hogan and other various mainframe systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an orientation toward customer service.

Outstanding leadership ability. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Self-motivated. Well organized. Ability to work under tight time constraints. Ability to function at many professional levels.

Strong interpersonal skills necessary for business partner relationships within and outside of organization. Acts as backup to manager as necessary.
