Title: Reliability Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA

The Candidate:
-Prime responsibility will be in development and implementation of methodologies and techniques to enhance product reliability and help reliability engineers in test planning, execution and data reporting.
-Have experience in using Physics-of-Failure based approach to develop and implement accelerated tests to mitigate risks and qualify engineering designs during product development.
-Should be able to use common reliability analysis tools including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and using acceleration models for common failure mechanisms in electronic products to estimate product service life.
-Should be capable of applying Design of Experiments (DOE) concepts to develop test plans to improve product robustness and performance. Knowledge of statistical techniques and models is required to analyze test data and estimate product life cycle performance.
-Will be responsible to interface with reliability engineers to understand needs and work with other lab staff including lab technicians for reliability plan execution and reporting of results.
-Will understand test specifications, write test procedures, develop familiarity with test suites; monitor devices under test and test equipment for faults and diagnoses and correct equipment issues.
-Will be required to maintain test data files, and databases and reports test status and non-conformances to engineering teams.
-Responsible for continuous lab improvement efforts, with participation in development of operating procedures, test methods, and error-proofing.
-Will create complete data trend and variation analysis and creates engineering reports.
-Will require engagement on multiple products with cross-functional teams and management of lab activities and personnel.
-Will have strong skill-set in analysis and problem solving as well as communication and vendor management are required.

Skills:
-3+ years’ of work experience for candidates in reliability and life estimation of electro-mechanical products using computer aided engineering design tools, statistics and finite element models; developing mechanical functioning, environmental stress and accelerated life tests to evaluate product performance
