The Reliability Engineer will demonstrate leadership in communicating OHV fleet performance, emerging issues business goals, programs, and shop processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. In this role, you will:
Execute with some guidance the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
Provide technical leadership to other personnel assigned to support the effort on assigned projects and/or tasks; mentors others in the organization
Document technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
Respond as a technical representative for system level issue investigation for electrical rotating equipment (AC/DC motors and alternators), mechanical equipment (structures, gears and bearings), drives and controls to end-user sites and repair facilities
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of IT, engineering, scientific or other technical experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering field
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Technological proficiency, including relevant engineering tools
Demonstrated passion for driving fleet performance
Additional experience designing and implementing new products using the NPI process through product launch and field following
An understanding of Six Sigma tools to make data-based recommendations and decisions
Ability to successfully work in a team environment
