Position Responsibilities (key duties, scope of position, goals, expectations, skill requirements, and travel requirements)
·
Member of leadership team reporting to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for providing direction to reliability team that includes the planning group, condition monitoring group, and reliability engineering.
·
Visible leader and unwavering support for Holcim's safety, health, and environmental policies.
·
Member of plant leadership team whose responsibilities include helping determine improvement opportunities and setting achievable goals for the site.
·
Accountable for management and overall results of the reliability department based on defined KPI´s. This includes support and development of maintenance budgets, capital requirements, major maintenance projects, implementation plans, and execution of the maintenance plans.
·
Responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring reliability based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis, oil analysis, and other condition monitoring systems as necessary.
·
Responsible for creating, reviewing, and improving preventive maintenance routines and measuring their effectiveness.
·
Create, plan, organize, and execute short and long range objectives to ensure continued operational excellence of plant equipment.
·
Responsible for day-to-day execution and accountability of reliability functions with coordinated execution with area maintenance.
·
Help lead MTBF improvement and sustainability of major equipment.
·
Lead reliability functions of plant through a proactive maintenance approach.
·
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for the department in a manner consistent with Our Values, and ensure alignment with plant and company goals.
·
Utilize Holcim systems, such as MaC, SAP, PMA, CBM, RCA, FMEA, etc., to optimize overall equipment efficiency at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance.
·
Support, demonstrate, and facilitate the concepts of development and involvement of employees, continuous learning and continuous improvement in a values based high performance organization.
·
Accountable for providing leadership, development and coaching on individual performance to direct reports to achieve business results.
·

Educational Requirements
·


Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering preferred.

Other Related Experiences Required
·


Minimum 5 years of maintenance and reliability management level experience in a heavy industrial environment, cement industry experience strongly preferred.
·
Demonstrated leadership, team building and communication (verbal and written) skills are required.
·
Excellent management and organizational skills are necessary to effectively perform in this position.
·
Strong skills in creating, planning, organizing and executing long range objectives to ensure continued department area efficiency and effectiveness.
·
Computer skills: knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point, and SAP.
·
Knowledge of maintenance planning with the ability to create and implement maintenance and process systems.
·
Demonstrated positive employee relations
