Title: Reliability Test Technician
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Prime responsibility will be execution of reliability testing using established procedures and techniques.
Perform the set-up, running a wide variety of reliability environmental, mechanical and chemical testing, HALT/HASA testing, chambers operation and electrical tests per reliability engineer requirements, maintenance/ basic calibration of test equipment and environmental chambers, develop reliability stress hardware specifications and procedures, write test programs for reliability testing and characterization, and assist in selection of new reliability lab equipment
Assist Reliability engineer in performing electronic products electrical verification testing
Summarize the test data and perform data analysis in accordance to product design requirements
Prepare test reports and communicate results and findings to Reliability engineer to facilitate root cause analysis and resolution when failure occurs
Support team in performing other Electro-Mechanical testing and measurements per product design requirements.
Complete measurement method analysis (GRR), gage correlation studies.
Set up test equipment for functional tests for PCBA and system levels, including product cabling, instrumented thermal and mechanical characterizations such as thermal couples, accelerometers, strain gages, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
Monitor product on test (understands test suites), and test equipment for faults and diagnoses and correct equipment issues.
Maintain test data files, and databases and reports test status and non-conformances to engineering teams.
Complete data trend and variation analysis and create engineering reports.
Contribute to lab continuous improvement efforts, with participation in development of operating procedures, test methods, and error-proofing.
Perform basic soldering, wiring, fixture setup and product labeling to track DUTs
Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, soldering, wiring, setup of electrical tests and interpretation of electrical schematics.
Experience using electrical instrumentation such as source meters, power meters and integrating instrumentation with data acquisition systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronics setups, measurement equipment, and analyze data to recognize trends and verify measurement quality.
Has detail orientation with strong analytical ability. Able to recognize test and test part anomalies, trends and malfunctions.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of task execution, and work with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working in team environment and adapt to changes in assignments, and balance multiple tasks.
Proficient with MS Office including Excel formulas and charts, word and power point.
Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate technical information and test results effectively and provide test summaries.
Advanced Experience desired with Excel Macros, Visual Basic, Data acquisition / test equipment automation (Lab View or Visual Basic) is a plus
Education: BS or technology degree in materials, mechanical engineering or electronics or equivalent experience.
