Responsible for performing a wide variety of engineering assignments related to reliability, safety, maintainability and logistics support for detection and suppression systems and components. Maintain a complete knowledge of all product lines including configuration, installation, operation, testing and repair. Interface with customers on specific requirements related to Reliability, Safety, Maintainability, and Integrated Logistics Systems. Will assist in developing pricing quotations related to logistical requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned.

•Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)- MIL-HDBK-2155
•Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Problem Solving Tools
•Designing and Developing Maintainable Products and Systems – MIL-HDBK-470A
•Maintainability Prediction – MIL-HDBK-472
•Maintainability Analysis – MSG-3
•Safety System (PSSA, SSA, FHA, CMA, PRA) – MIL-HDBK-764, SAE ARP 4761, MIL-STD-882
•FAA & EASA Related Processes for Aircraft Certifications
•Preparation of Test Requirements Documents – MIL-STD-1519

Required Skills:
•Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional engineering experience
•Minimum of 5 years experience in aerospace and electronics reliability/safety/maintainability/logistics
•Experience with the use of use of engineering computer programs for reliability, safety, maintainability and logistics analysis
•Must be able to communicate and coordinate with other departments, such as Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing Engineering to facilitate compliance with program reliability/logistics requirements

Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science
