TMC is looking for a few individuals with an associates degree, technical degree, or 30+ credit semester hours for full time work on drilling rig locations throughout the greater Texas and Louisiana area. Candidates must have a very strong grasp of math, science, computers and chemistry. Geology courses strongly desired Description A Mudlogger is someone who works a 1-3 weeks on 5-14 days off rotation. The specific duties of a Mudlogger are as follows: Ability to travel both onshore and offshore. This involves boarding and disembarking, including riding personnel baskets/carriers and riding helicopters to and from shore. Being able to work 12 hour days one to three weeks straight.Rig Up' and Rig Down'; at least one day each.- Rigging up and down involves installing sensors and running cables from a mobile aboratory to various sensors around the drilling rig.Monitoring data form microprocessors based data acquisition system and other instruments inside a mobile lab.Collecting cuttings and fluid samples at the return line of the well, processing and analyzing samples with microscope, a Fluoroscope and specific chemical tests.
