Own the retention and sales of Ooyala’s product and services for existing accounts. Responsible for renewing, up-selling, and closing renewing contracts. Partner with sales leadership to support the development and administration of the Renewals Process.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Increase or retain existing contract value of the designated customer accounts

Discovery of account growth opportunities and negotiating contract renewals through the sale of service upgrades, premium features, and/or customizations with support of Account Executive Team

Lead initiatives focused on improving customer satisfaction and support the implementation of best practices to decrease customer churn rate

Communicate with a large global customer list and work alongside multiple departments in the renewals process i.e. Billing, Account Management, Product, Sales Team, and upper Management

Provide recommendations on ways to increase operational scalability for managed customer segment by providing quarterly reports, customer trending data, and customer churn analysis

Manage Salesforce CRM database to effectively log customer history, account activity, build business intelligence, and execute marketing campaign strategies for the renewals process

Communicate effectively in-person and by phone to clearly articulate Ooyala product positioning

Maintain a working knowledge of Ooyala products and new offerings

2 + years of renewals, sales, account management or equivalent customer facing role

Ability to work cross-functionally and understand how various departments assist in renewals

Detail oriented and able to effectively manage accounts and interpret reports in Salesforce

Strong time management and organizational skills

Superior interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills
