Southwestern Energy Company began operating in Arkansas 80 years ago. We now produce primarily natural gas from more than 1.5 million acres of land and have expanded our operations into Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Canada. We also engage in natural gas gathering and marketing activities in our core market areas in support of exploration and production activities. We are currently looking for a Repair & Maintenance Technician II for our Damascus Location.
Repair and Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
Maintenance requirements ranging from small fleet vehicles to heavy equipment. Examples include: trucks, air compressors, pumps, trailers, frac tanks, light plants, generators and other assigned pieces of equipment utilized in the Damascus Operations Yard, AGRE and in the DeSoto Field.
Track and log all paperwork necessary for maintenance logs, service reports and other paperwork for billing purposes. Must ensure that all data is accurate and up to date.
Conduct daily walk arounds for safety and general clean up, as well as a dedicated shop clean up at the conclusion of every day.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Transportation or the Maintenance Superintendent.
An ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Minimum of a trade school certification or 3 years of maintenance experience.
Extensive working knowledge of engine and vehicle electrical components and full knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines.
Must possess superior customer service skills to interact with management, clients and vendors.
Must exhibit good interpersonal skills with other members of the Supply Service team and SWN.
