Representative, Donor & Information Services (Part Time)
The Representative, Donor &Information Services uses outbound phone communication and other strategies to maintain and increase museum memberships and raise money for the museum’s Annual Fund. The Representative also promotes and enhances strong visitor/member relations and provides administrative support to meet department needs.
This position is scheduled up to 16.5 hours per week with shifts occurring Monday through Friday between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Contact museum members and the public to solicit support for the museum. This includes membership renewals, new member solicitation,
annual fund donations and invitations to events. Assist with inbound calls to the 1ART line upon request.
Enter reservations and visitor information for museum events using The Patron Edge software.
Gather and maintain the accuracy of visitor and member information in The Raiser’s Edge and The Patron Edge software. Keep up-to-date on upcoming events and membership activities to provide clear information and guidance to visitors.
Contact visitors and members to assist with museum events, RSVP’s and questions.
Assist with onsite events and functions to increase membership activity.
Process gifts through credit cards, checks and cash and communicate daily deposits with Donor and Information Services and the Finance Department.
Makes outbound calls based on current project(s). Averages 25 calls an hour and consistent pace and energy on calls.
Daily entry of sales and/or events registrations into The Patron Edge.
Daily entry of sales activity into The Raiser’s Edge.
Minimum one year experience phone or retail sales, with measurable sales outcomes.
Comfort with data entry or database work, preferably using The Raiser’s Edge or The Patron Edge software.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management, planning, and teamwork skills.
Must project a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Must be flexible, well organized.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
