Responsible for problem determination and resolution following established standards for college staff and student technology issues; primarily via telephone support, online chat, and in person. Records pertinent information about all incidents and resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Utilizes the college's Service Management System to ensure customer problems are resolved. Provides a high level of professionalism and customer service in dealings with customers. Installs and troubleshoots a wide variety of computer components, following escalation procedures when problems need to be elevated to the next level of support. Utilizes available education resources to keep abreast of new developments in hardware, software, and customer satisfaction techniques. Assists with customer training as required. Travels to all the campus locations of the college as needed and the primary campus designation could change. Position requires the ability to work a fluctuating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
There are seven positions available.
1.) Mon - Fri, 7:30am to 1:30pm
2.) Mon - Fri, 7:30am to 1:30pm
3.) Mon - Fri, 7:30am to 1:30pm
4.) Mon - Thurs, 11:30am to 6pm; Fri 12:30pm to 4pm
5.) Mon - Thurs, 11:30am to 6pm; Fri 12:30pm to 4pm
6.) Mon - Thurs, 11:30am to 6pm; Fri 12:30pm to 4pm
7.) Mon - Thurs, 2pm to 8pm; Sat, 9am to 3pm
High school diploma or GED required with additional training related to the position.
Minimum of one year related experience required.
Detail oriented, good problem solving skills, effective customer service skills, and good verbal and written communication skills are all required.
Must have the ability to install/troubleshoot MS Windows operating system.
