DESCRIPTION

Research Assistant (Research Laboratory Monitors) working in grant-funded behavioral pharmacology research laboratory will be responsible for observing and recording research participants' activities in a residential laboratory.

DUTIES

Research Laboratory Monitor will use computers to record participants' behaviors, communicate with participants, and process food requisitions.

Incumbent will assist with set-up, operational activities, collecting data, and packaging food. Research Laboratory Monitors will work under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager and the Principal Investigators.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following shifts are available:
Evenings (5:00PM-9:00PM) Monitors will be asked to work part-time for 2-4 weeks, followed by 2-6 weeks when there will be no work.
Work schedule is flexible and irregular; work on some weekends required.
Some college preferred. Experience with computers, behavioral science, and human subject research is useful. Attention to detail is imperative.
