This position will actively and independently contribute toward the development, execution, and completion of research activities. He/she will work independently to reach program goals. They will collaborate with University partners (other departments within the KU School of Medicine, Wesley Medical Center, Via Christi Hospitals of Wichita, Wichita Medical Research and Education Foundation and Wichita State University) to accomplish project goals.

This is a part-time (.5% FTE), exempt, unclassified appointment, renewable annually, subject to the applicable laws, regulations, policies, minutes, and resolutions of the Kansas Board of Regents, the University of Kansas, and the State of Kansas

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public health, health-related field, education, or related field.
Clinical, health-related experience.
Ability to be self directed, manage, organize, set and accomplish project goals.
Experience with Microsoft Office, database management software; ability to transfer data into tables, graphs and figures.
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with people at all levels of an organization.
Ability to establish priorities, procedures, and methods working independently.
Knowledge of various publishing formats (APA, MLA).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with statistical packages
Prior clinical research experience.
Interest in public health, population medicine, international medicine and health disparities.
Advanced training or experience in research methods and analysis, particularly health disparities research.

Complete institutional review board forms and support process for investigators.
Collect, manage, analyze, and report data related to assigned project activities.
Collaborate with faculty in developing procedures that ensure the unbiased integrity of data and statistical analysis; monitor entry of clinical study date; and perform/assist with statistical data analysis.
Prepare and compile reports and presentations.
Prepare manuscripts for submission to professional journals.
Maintain communication with project partners.
Organize, facilitate and support meetings as needed.
Adhere to ethical standards in conducting human research.
Participate in quality improvement projects at the JayDoc and/or Guadalupe Clinic.
Attend DFCM Simulation education curriculum development advisory committee meetings.
