We are currently seeking a Research Assistant for the San Diego, California area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be proficient with computers and facile with computer software for word processing, graphic productions, database management, and mathematical and statistical analysis. Expertise and experience in the following programs are specifically required: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAS statistical software.

Must have proven experience in assisting with the conduct of human research studies.

Must have ability to work as a team member on large research projects. Proven experience working on large complex research studies including all aspects study from enrollment to data collection and security.

Must have good understanding of research methodologies, from design to data collection.

Must have experience working within the Federal Government system as military, civilian or government contractor.

Must be able to communicate orally and in writing using universal English.

Maintain a safe workplace ensuring that he/she is aware of and observes appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations. Employee is required to attend safety training relative to his/her position and report any infractions of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.

Performs light duties and other related duties as required and assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Health or related field.

Must possess and maintain certification to conduct human research such as HIPAA and CITI training.

Must be able to work independently following a brief period of specific technical training.

Must be a U.S. citizen
