We are looking for a Clinical Research Assistant with the following skills and requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of exam room, restrooms, waiting rooms and laboratory
  • Restock all clinic supplies at the end of the day
  • Perform blood draws
  • Obtain vital signs
  • Process (centrifuge, transfer, prepare for shipment) biological specimens (urine, stool, blood, etc.)
  • Provide assistance to clinic staff by organizing files, projects, data, etc.
  • Provide general office management to keep operations running smoothly
  • Assist with the development and execution of clinic research studies and programs
  • Work under specific instructions to assist with routine tests, experiments, and procedures
  • Prepare subject binder and print CRF’s/ Source Documents the day before
  • File laboratory results to the correct subject binders
  • Prepare and restock laboratory kits
  • Scan, save and upload to drop box all the CRF’s completed at the end of the day

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health related filed
  • Phlebotomy Certificate
  • At least one (1) year related work experience required

  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
  • Ability to understand and follow basic scientific research protocol and procedure
  • Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), email, internet
  • Advanced understanding of data management processes
  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data and skilled in the use of computerized systems and databases
  • Medical terminology
  • Vital signs
  • 1-2 years of experience drawing blood and collecting urine specimens.
